This is a stream that runs for about five miles through the heart of Seoul. It was part of a massive urban renewal project to make the city more attractive and eco-friendly. Although the project was met with a lot of criticism, it was a huge hit with Seoulites and foreigners alike after opening in 2005 and, as you can see, is now #1 on my to-do list!
I want to see the stream both in daylight and at night, because after the sun goes down, there are many underwater lights that give the stream a beautiful, ethereal glow.
